Building a Multi-Platform Event Management Ecosystem

My role:
Product Designer
Scope:
Copetitive research • User Flows • Wireframing • Design System • UX/UI
Platform:
SaaS, B2B, B2C, Web, Mobile
Timeline:
Aug 2025 - present
Context
This project focuses on the UX design of a multi-surface event platform spanning across four products: an admin dashboard, a client-facing event editor (SaaS), a participant app, and a remote-control app. The platform supports diverse user roles and skill levels while remaining scalable and reliable for live events.
I’ve been involved from day one, contributing across all phases—from client kickoff to UX definition and design system foundations. The product combines real-time interactivity with AI-assisted event creation, and is now transitioning from high-fidelity wireframes into the UI phase.
Approach
Working as part of a three-designer team, I was the primary designer responsible for end-to-end UX across the platform. My work included defining user flows for all four products, conducting extensive competitive and market analysis, and leading research into how AI could support and simplify event creation workflows.
We explored multiple AI integration concepts through rapid iteration, testing how automation could reduce setup complexity without removing user control. I translated these insights into high-fidelity wireframes and presented design directions regularly to both internal teams and client stakeholders.
Learnings
This project significantly deepened my experience designing complex SaaS products with multiple user types and permission levels. Key impact on me:
Designing for SaaS Complexity: Strengthened my ability to design multi-tenant systems, balancing permission complexity with a consistent, role-based experience.
Architectural Decisions: Gained firsthand insight into how early flow and structure decisions shape long-term scalability.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Improved my ability to lead design conversations.
Due to the project being under NDA, full details cannot be publicly shared, but I’d be happy to discuss the process and my contributions further in a private conversation or interview.
